Pantone Color of 2025: Mocha Mousse

Mocha Mousse, the color of 2025!

I wish I had written my prediction down because I had called that this year it would be a brown! But I guess you will just have to take my word for it. This color is beautiful and I am so excited to see how it influnces the fashion (and home) indusrty.

While this color is a beautiful color in its own right… it is, at its core, a warm and soft color. This may make it difficult to wear for many of our tonal color palettes. But again, one of the things I love about the tonal system is its flexibility! So how can we wear Mocha Mousse well in each of our palettes?

  1. Clear Palette

Even as a clear myself…I am very eager to mix this color into my wardrobe. But in transparency, it is too soft of a color for me to wear on its own so here are some colors that I can wear with Mocha Mousse to still flatter my clear coloring!

Royal Blue, Black, Dark Navy, and Emerald Turqoise!

2. Soft Palette

Mocha mousse is a very soft color…which makes it wonderfully suited for those in the soft color palette! But here are some more, low contrasting, color options to wear with Mocha Mousse.

Natural Beige, Charcoal Blue, Sage, and Damson.

3. Deep Palette

The lighter brown that is Mocha Mousse on its own will not highlight deep palette well. But pairing it with deeper colors will be VERY flattering!

Aubergine, Black-brown, Sapphire, and Evergreen.

4. Light Palette

The Mocha Mousse is a phenomenal neutral for our Light Color Palettes. It serves as a good base to pair with some of the other great colors in the Light palette.

Mint, Soft White, Sage, and Baby Pink.

5. Cool Palette

Mocha Mousse is a much warmer brown than I would recommend for a Cool, but all that is needed is to pair in some cooler colors to flatter our cool’s coloring!

Cassis, Icy blue, Navy, and Pine.

6. Warm Palette

I love the warmth that Mocha Mousse gives. And that pairs perfectly with our warmer palettes. Here are some more warm colors to add to flatter our Warm Palette best!

Lime, Sage, Olive, and Teal.

Just because a color is not in your palette does not mean you cannot wear it. That is one of the main reasons why I love the Tonal System. Now I know how to wear colors best for me…and you can too!

I hope this has been helpful and I truly would love to see everyone rocking this Mocha Mousse in a flattering and fun way! If you are curious to know your palette and how to wear Mocha Mousse well, Book a consultation here!
