Who is Lyn Taylor?

Lyn Taylor is me…but also not me?

I get this quite often- “Hey Lyn!” “Excuse me Lyn…”

Well, my name is actually Alex! The name is Lyn Taylor came from the staging business my mom, sister, and I started in 2020. Taylor is my sister’s middle name and Lyn is my mom’s and my middle name…hence Lyn Taylor! But don’t worry…I’ll answer to both Lyn and Alex.

But I am Alex Cook and I love color…kinda a lot. It’s a bit of an obsession of mine.

Here are some fast facts about me!

• I was born in Waco,TX. But then my family moved to Tacoma, WA and we lived there for about 10 years before we moved back to Waco for the long haul.

• I went to Baylor and studied Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

• I met my husband, Paul, in 2021 at a youth camp we were volunteering at and we got married in April of 2023!

• I am a dog mom to the cutest lil’ border collie named Rosemary (Rosie) and I can pretty much promise that I will talk about her a good bit.

• I have been a Color Consultant, trained by Colour Me Beautiful UK, since the summer of 2022 and a style consultant since the fall of 2023!
